Mullensten, Ferguson's assistant coach during his time at Manchester United, is quite disappointed with today's United team. He said that United lost 6 of their first 11 matches of the season, which is unsatisfactory, and said that Casemiro and Varane, no longer have the ability to play in the Premier League.

Mullensten said United's recent situation is not ideal: "The Red Devils are experiencing a very bad start, in the first 11 games of the season, actually lost 6 games, which also puts the whole team under a lot of pressure. Ten Hahn has invested heavily in reinforcements for 2 consecutive years and he has the squad he wants to have and he has to take the blame for the team's poor performance".

Mullensteen went on to talk about the players, focusing on Casemiro and Varane: "Despite Casemiro's good performances last season, he has dropped in level and fitness this season and is no longer able to adapt to the Premier League. After the international day, Ten Hahn will need to strip Casemiro of his place. Varane is also no longer able to cope with the pace of the Premier League game and the Frenchman has been plagued by injuries."
